Rest in Peace Arlene "Granny" Arvola
Many Point and Scouting lost a legend on February 3rd when Arlene "Granny" Arvola passed away. Granny worked at Many Point for 30 years as the Head Cook. Granny quickly in her tenure became a legend and a leader known for starting first and ending last, working hard, and passionately providing fantastic food for all Scouts and staff at Many Point. Her homemade "Granny" bread and rolls won the hearts of countless staff, leaders, and Scouts each summer. Her leadership and hard work resonated across our camps culture, and the example she set will resonate throughout the shores of Many Point for decades to come. Granny will be dearly missed by all. Granny's visitation was held on February 7th and the funeral was on February 8th.
